The man with the cake, Steve Aoki is well known for his affinity towards Alternative Rock Music. For those who don’t know, before his DJ career began, he used to have his own little punk rock band called ‘This Machine Kills’.
Having collaborated twice with American rock band Linkin Park (A Light That Never Comes and Darker Than Blood), the American DJ/producer takes on another rock band, with a remix for American electronic band AWOLNATION.
Picking the track ‘I Am’ by the band’s latest album ‘Run’, the band and Aoki have given away the remix for free.
Aoki has successfully managed to transform this rock ballad into a fast paced anthem that will soon be taking over the festival main stages.
