Yet another feather in that cap is American super talent Mrmilkcarton, who has been on their roster for a time now. His newest EP on the Silk Arrival division brings all the core Silk values into coalescence, while leaving its listeners gasping in the beautiful sonic landscape they have been immersed in.

 

Following his acclaimed ‘Complectus Aeris’, Mrmilkcarton delivers “The Last Of Us” EP, featuring two visionary progressive cuts. The first is the alluring and hypnotic title track, that is laden with delightful arpeggio melodies and some surreal instrumentals. A gentle piano groove, peppered with some swerving synths, strings and a deep acidic bassline shows Mrmilkcarton’s range of production skills as he touches both ends of euphoria with this single masterpiece. The track is also features on Silk’s hallmark compilation Silk Arrival Presents 02: Destination Indonesia. Skipping over to the B-side and we hear the deep and driving ‘Valley of the Giants‘, which completes an intriguing tale of beats, bass and bliss as the beautifully structured melody fuses with intricate elements to form a delicious synth-bassline combo, that’ll get your feet tapping and your arms elevated.
