Welsh DJ and producer Jamie Jones is without a doubt one of the finest artists we have in the dance music scene today. Sublime productions and sets have seen him become one of the most revered musicians in the present day, and when someone like him gives an opinion, it’s definitely worth its weight.
In an interview with Beatport at last month’s WMC, Jamie Jones lay down his thoughts on the whole mainstream vs. underground debate that has the whole industry with countless opinions.
“I think discriminating against any event that’s making people party for 2 hours listening to any DJ even if they’re throwing cakes or whatever, people are having a good time…it’s just a party.”
