It’s finally happening. After Delhiites were left heartbroken when Alt-J couldn’t play in the city due to bad weather, there were rumours about a possible return of the British band for a 2 city tour in May. And the prayers have been answered!
Alt-J are indeed returning to India for a 2 city tour in May, all set to make up for the disappointment of the bad weather on 1st March in Delhi, and missing out on Mumbai. The Grammy nominated band have played some of the biggest festivals around the world, including Coachella, Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo amongst others.
The band’s previous album ‘This Is All Yours‘ was nominated for a Grammy Award, under the Best Alternative Music Album category, while their debut album ‘An Awesome Wave‘ was announced as announced as BBC Radio 6 Music Album of the Year in 2012. Trust us, this is one gig you definitely shouldn’t be missing out on.
