Driving through a sometimes sinister-othertimes uplifting sound, the power-collaborative has bought together some of the most iconic and eclectic grooves into shape and curation. Known for their organic soundscapes and ethereal buildups, the 16 Bit Lolitas sound has ushered in evolutionary changes over the last few seasons, with careful attention to bass & melodic progressions, and the sound has only become more richer and euphoric. Out with their brand new single ‘Not The Only One‘, it encapsulates in true spirit of their unique soundstyle as well as combines their penchant for sonic exploration in a truly rewarding experience for the listener.
The track opens with crisp percussion and groove-assisted arrangements, combining with bassline progressions around the first break. A delicate pack of strings and keys lend a certain ethereality to the track before an absolutely magical vocal hook reverbs its way into audibility. Tied to an emotional string break, the vocals lift the track into uncharted waters with all elements of the track thus heard coming into coalescence, forming a beautiful arrangement of sonic magic.
