When we think of Indie Dance and Deep House music, Nora En Pure is one of the first names to pop into our heads. And why not? This Swiss/ South African maestro seeks to arouse feelings of bliss and inject unconventional and serene sensations to be carried out into the world. Not only has she produced deep and funky works of audible engineering for the label Enormous Tunes and Tokenish since 2009 but also allowed herself to be immersed in her work to the extent of reflecting her ideology through her music. The flute, the percussion, the synth, the rhythm, the melody, the vibe – if we get jotting down points on what all we love about this remix, it’ll take us a week, maybe ten days to finish describing why this track is brilliant. EDX is deep house’s Midas, turning anything he touches into pure gold. While we thought Uruguay was at its zenith in terms of excellence, EDX made an otherwise impeccable track absolutely phenomenal. This trio is a force to be reckoned with, for what do you get when you put Nora En Pure, Sons of Maria and EDX on one track? That’s right, an eargasm. This track is proof of it.
5. Nora En Pure – Let The Light In (Original Mix)
As the introduction of this track built up, we didn’t know what to expect. We were nervous and excited and inevitably appeased by Nora’s top notch quality. Fresh and uplifting, Let The Light In has overtones of emotion and a splendid feel good vibe associated with it. This dexterous, pure deep house wunderkind has proved yet again that she is a stellar producer with this smooth, melodic bomb. Thank you, Nora.
