Thinning out the wave of progressive house in their own distinct fashion are Hungarian DJ/Producer duo Stadiumx. Made up of Dave and Sully, there isn’t any lying distrust about the level of accomplishment Stadiumx have reached in a short time span.
Already a part of Muzzaik with Danny for more than a decade, Sully had gained enough popularity and became quite well-known with their hit single ‘Let’s Go’; a Muzzaik & Dave Martin release. Came 2009, Sully met Dave at a producer workshop and gave birth to their new project Stadiumx.
Sully & Dave both have remained under the impression that if they were creating a unique energetic sound for Stadiumx, while fusing production techniques from multiple genres and combining their own sound design, they would end up with a product which name fits well in the Stadiumx vocabulary: ‘Big-Stadium’!
Their latest collab with Tom Swoon ft. Rico & Miella known as ‘Ghost’ stood out to be a true phenomenon musically crafted by the A-team. Since the time ‘Ghost’ saw its first light during the last days of 2014, it saw support from the likes of Afrojack, Martin Garrix, Tiesto, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike amongst others and still stays strong in Stadiumx’s sets.
Well it’s not that the extremely brilliant duo Stadiumx have only worked on original mixes. Even more is what they offer through the magnificent remixes they’ve done for some of the industry’s big names. With remixes from Sultan and Ned Shepard’s ‘All These Roads’ featuring Zella Day & Sam Martin to ‘Lovers On The Sun’ from David Guetta & Sam Martin, they have always kept it enormous.
Did we say Gareth Emery? That’s right! Stadiumx recently bagged their yet another huge deal and turned mighty trance legend Gareth Emery’s ‘Eye Of The Storm’ (single from ‘Drive’) to massive dance floor burner. The track has now been released as a part of Emery‘s ‘Drive Refueled’ album. Other remixes done by Stadiumx are for Cash Cash’s ‘Surrender’ and Wilkinson’s ‘Half Light’ to name a few.
Although not since long, but Stadiumx have been bringing in fresh and quality progressive sounds our way; certainly enough to make a permanent space for themselves in our minds.
