It’s official. The Australian duo that forms What So Not  have decided to part ways. Harley Edward Streten, stage name Flumetook to What So Not’Facebook page to announce his departure handing over all duties to his co-producer Emoh Instead. This really does not come as a surprise to the dance music community as Emoh Instead was seen touring and producing solo for What So Not for around a year before the separation was formally announced.

In the post, Flume explains to the fans that they both have been moving in different directions creatively, and haven’t really made any music together in quite a while. He also gives the duo’s fans hope by stating that they have collaborated for one final EP which they finished last year and shall be released sometime soon. He ends the post on an emotional note by expressing his love for the fans and for Emoh and his dedication towards What So Not.

Final details regarding the EP will be out soon, but if rumors are to be believed, following the duo’s interaction on social media, collaborations with Dillon Francis and Skrillex can be expected.
