Dzeko & Torres is a Canadian production and DJ duo based out of Toronto, Canada. Members Luis Torres and Julian Dzeko had first met as teenagers on an online forum for all-age club events in Toronto. Julian was promoting events back then, whereas Luis was a graphic designer & photographer. Dzeko once mentioned, “we both loved house music and I had just gone and saw Tiesto play for 8,000 people in Toronto, and decided to buy DJ equipment and learn how to DJ. Luis was starting to learn production at the time and we decided to team up and learn from each other.” Starting off with their own DJing around 2007, it was a whole year later when they released their single ‘Confronted’ on DJ Chuckie’s Dirty Dutch Digital Vol.4
Following that, this duo has seen a slew of successful releases on massive labels such as Mixmash Records, Monstercat, and Musical Freedom Records. Releasing their EP Hey on Dim Mak Records in 2012, they also released official remixes for artists as diverse as Chuckie, Imagine Dragons and Capital Cities.
After having toured throughout North America and Europe, gracing various festivals such as The BPM Festival, Ultra Music Festival, Winter Music Conference,[4] Electric Zoo Festival, Coachella, and Tomorrowland, they’ve finally made their way to India for a three city campus tour courtesy Sunburn Festival!
