He is not just a brilliant artist, he is also a vivid lover of numerous great cities on this planet. Markus Schulz has always incorporated his music with places he has traveled around the globe through compilations since 2005. From this year, the trance veteran’s love is not just going stay for compilations. In a brand new series, Markus is going to release 12 singles inspired by popular destinations.
I want to find the shows that I’m really excited about this year, make tracks especially for these shows and then play them live, record the crowd noise, put them all together at the end of the year and have this unifying voice in a compilation. says Markus.
First up in the series is ‘Bayfront’, a title that is just apt for Miami. The track’s influences come from Markus’ special connection with Club Space in Miami, as he used to be a weekly resident there. ‘Bayfront’ kicks off with his typical style as we’ve seen in recent years. Whilst the main melodic and trancy part is one that’ll simply make you lose yourself if you’re at some arena or festival. We’ve to say only Markus is capable of creating such positive-vibes-equipped tunes. ‘Bayfront’ will be released on January 19th via Coldharbour Recordings. Listen to the preview below:
