Trust noone if you must on Twitter when it comes to making a promise, but do trust Joel Zimmerman. The notoriously vocal Deadmau5 revealed his plans for his upcoming set at Guvernment, Toronto – when he tweeted that fans can expect a 20 minute version of his classic tune ‘Strobe’.

Part of his iconic 2009 album ‘For Lack Of A Better Name‘, ‘Strobe‘ quickly ascertained to cult status, defining an era of Dance Music dominated by intense and emotional progressive electronica. Perhaps, his most celebrated track of all time, ‘Strobe‘ is undeniably the fan favorite and an evergreen star on every DJ’s playlist, owing to its genre-free structure. We can’t wait to hear a 20 minute version of the same, however, we can’t deny it raises our curiosity a bit – as to how Joel intends to decorate this challenge. Guess, we’ll have to wait and watch!
