Right from the foundation, Olander grew up admiring Prydz and later turned out to be the first DJ ever to be officially endorsed by Prydz. So one can easily comprehend why he is the one to join him on this Essential Mix. With new music on the skyline for both Prydz and Olander, the maiden Essential Mix was as much about setting the general tenor as it was testing fresh stuff for progressive house’s global appeal.
Undoubtedly the mix pleasures the listener with that extraordinary verve and impeccable mixing that Prydz is known for. Flooding with IDs, personal edits and fan submitted material this Essential Mix is one that shows cordially into both artist’s enigmatic skills. We simply can’t take a chance to say whether this is already 2015’s finest essential mix but with Eric Prydz and Jeremy Olander’s first take, it is going to be a tough task for others to follow.
