With the Modern music industry trying to reach out to all kinds of audiences, the pressure on artists to produce and make music outside their preferred scope of expertise has never been more impending. With many artists trying to break the genre bubble by integrating various styles, in order to gather audiences of other genres, the latest star to join the brigade is non other than Worldwide Pop sensation Akon. Having already done a little stint with the Indian music industry, Akon builds on his re-portiere through his latest magnum-opus ; a five part-five genre album called ‘Stadium‘ that will explore his musical nuances in the genres of Eurodance, Pop, Urban, Island and World Music.

Akon has already made five new singles available to stream on his website, one from each of ‘Stadium’‘s genres. “Better” (featuring Niko the Kid) comes from Stadium: Euro, Stadium: Pop‘s first taste is a piano song called “To Each His Own,” Urban includes the single “Whole Lot”, Island‘s first single features Damian Marley and is called “Just a Man” and “Feeling a Nikka” (featuring D’Banje) arrives off of World. You can check out the EuroDance single ‘Better‘ that features a progressive-house style drop, perhaps best built for the festival arena.
