That it was announced that legendary Dance Music veteran Eric Prydz was taking over the BBC Radio One Essential Mix duties for the first ever episode of 2015, was a news that had definitely got us to sit and pry our ears up. But Prydz has gone ahead and added another dimension to the episode with a fantastic announcement that will atleast leave his inbox out of storage capacity! Prydz. alongwith the assistance of sensational producer Jeremy Olander, have called upon for entries from budding producers to include in the mammoth edition of the most iconic Radio show of all time!

Eric Prydz, besides his mercurial talent, has been Godfather to many fantastic talents in the industry, and his vision and judgement is unparalleled and unquestionable. So trust that when Prydz and Olander select an Original piece of work from an artist, and choose to showcase it in the first Essential Mix of the year, it has to be outstanding quality!
