Australian DJ duo and sisters NERVO are all set to release their debut studio album Collateral on Ultra Records in 2015, and now they’ve released the lead single from their album ‘Rise Early Morning‘, a collaboration with vocalist Au Revoir Simeone.
The single kicks off with pounding kick drums coupled with subtle synths, which make way for Simeone’s beautiful vocals resonating throughout the track. Loopy synths build up towards the breakdown, which is reminiscent of the signature NERVO sound, melodic, progressive and big room. Though the whole arrangement works for the track, it’s Au Revoir Simeone‘s vocals that give it an edge, taking it to the next level.
Talking about the single, the NERVO sisters said:
“We chose ‘Rise Early Morning’ as our first single largely because of the great response it gets in our sets. Our fans have been asking about the release on our social media channels and making signs with ‘Rise Early Morning’ written across them. It was important that we didn’t keep our fans waiting too long for this release”
