Louis Vivet, the electronic music project featuring Nicolas II and Aria S, have released their first single in the form of a cover/rework of Swedish rock musician’s Eagle-Eye-Cherry‘s Save Tonight, and given the massive hit single a chill, progressive treatment.
Featuring the vocals of the talented Gavrielle & Nick Goldston, who’ve previously covered Kaskade‘s Eyes, it’s a wonderful effort for a debut single. Exuberant vocals, a fabulous arrangement with a groovy bassline, catchy synth hooks and finger snapping samples that compliment the whole vibe set by the track, this is a highly remarkable effort by the duo.
Citing artists like Kygo, EDX and Christian Karlsson of Galantis as inspirations, the duo are taking all the right steps as they are set to launch their forthcoming EP sometime in 2015 on Prep School Recordings. And from what the signs are, it’ll definitely be one to watch out for.
