Daft Punk is Holding Onto One Last Gem From Random Access Memories

You might have just presumed by now that the era of Daft Punk’s Random Access Memories is over. But according to Revolt TV you should give your head a solid rollback. As we know, The Strokes front man, Julian Casablancas has recently shared with the TV that he caught up with Thomas Bangalter of Daft Punk and asked about whether their second collaboration is ever coming out or not. It clearly looks like apart from their huge hit, ‘Instant Crush’, Casablancas and the French duo worked together on a second track for the album Random Access Memories. Julian gave details to Revolt,

I bothered him last night. I was like, that song man, we got to put that song out! It’s cool. It’s definitely one-tenth as populicious as ‘Instant Crush’… it’s a song that goes four half steps up, moving, and it’s just that on cycle, on repeat, and its super bizarre and sounds like jazz, modern, weird.

There hasn’t been any word about this untitled track’s release but when asked whether or not it would rival the peculiarity of RAM‘s ‘Touch’, Julian detailed,

It’s weirder than any song on the record that I know of.

We hope Daft Punk agree to grace the world with yet another and even weirder Casablancas collaboration.
