Seth Troxler Releases Rare Mixtape, Focusing on ‘Timeless Sound’

Pioneering DJ/producer Seth Troxler has just released a mix tape that will leave you stunned. A bit less about rushing over a couple of hot tracks and more of what he himself finds amusing, it’s way different than you would usually expect from the maestro. The mix tape is called “Rhythm Control“ and as Troxler explains in his own words:

“Explores a slightly different sound than what people know me for in clubs, and create something that sounds timeless.”

Digging into genres like indie, pop and disco, the tape has its very own special groove. Starting off with the dazzling Bruce Springsteen‘s “State Trooper” edit, it slowly fades into mild blocks and danceable disco tunes taking control with ease.

“I’ve drawn inspiration from different places in time and different styles, and I saw this as a way for me to collect into one place all of those more eclectic influences that continue to inspire me.”
