Interesting and fresh or another recipe for disaster? We’re leaving it upto the listeners to decide. Dutch DJ Afrojack released a preview of his latest collaboration with Nicki Minaj and David Guetta on SoundCloud recently. “Hey Mama” is to be released on David Guetta’s new album and its safe to say that this track is different from all the records the trio have come up with in the past.
Nicki Minaj has stuck to what she is known for with her vocals blending in well with the background music. David Guetta seems to have put in his best to the track by delivering a really catchy tune. Afrojack’s contribution to the track is somewhat unconventional as he experiments with the beats and he is probably the missing “x-factor” in the tracks that turned out to be a complete disappointment and have been produced by David Guetta and Nicki Minaj in the past. The song is different than what the team has come up with previously and it has the potential of making a break through in the dance and digital charts.
The preview has left us satisfied and excited in the anticipation of what the entire track has to offer!
