Shogun Announces Debut Album And Single “Dragon”!
It’s been quite a while since we’ve seen the American born Taiwanese DJ and producer Andrew Chen, aka Shogun, show his high versatility through his typically remarkable productions. But we positively knew he had been locking himself up in the studio and preparing for what is going to be a huge milestone in his career. The time has now come as Shogun has himself announced the release of his much anticipated project; his debut album entitled ‘Dragon’.
The album consists of ten tracks, including some of his well-known productions like ‘Zanarkand’, ‘Erhu’, ‘Abduction’, and ‘Find Me’ (featuring Tania Zygar). Apart from these already released hit singles, the full-length record also features some of his newest creations underlining the best side of trance, progressive and electro music. Shogun has long been well-regarded as one of the most constant, solid producers to grace the Armind label, and with ‘Dragon’ he does the same by carrying his esteemed legacy even further.
As if the announcement of the debut album wasn’t enough, to create some good hype about it, Shogun has also released a new single from the album that happens to be the title track itself. Featuring the newcomer Adara, ‘Dragon’ was world premiered by Armin on November 6th on his radio show. The track encompasses gorgeous progressive house elements accompanied by customary trance melodies that give an insight of what to expect from the album when it releases on December 12th.
