It’s that time to get excited again because Deadmau5 posted something pretty cool on his Social Medians that has got our beats (heart and musical consciousness of course) racing. Having recently announced his plans for a new album with exclusive remixes from a throng of big names in the Electronic Music scene today, Joel has enticed his fans by posting the following pic via his ‘mau5trap‘ page on Facebook:
Having already got a taste of the album thanks to Dillon Francis‘ delicious remix of the smash-hit ‘Some Chords‘ & Wax Motif’s recent masterpiece of ‘Raise Your Weapon‘, our hunger has only been made insatiable after seeing these mouth-watering remixes coming our way from the likes of Botnek, fan favourite Chuckie, French prodigy Madeon, British DnB trio NERO, super tech-heads Pig & Dan, progressive house talent Michael Woods, Ghetto funk genius Shiba San and universally adored legendary producer Eric Prydz!
It’s safe to say #5YearsOfMau5 is slowly becoming the album everyone is looking out for and you’d have to be ill-equipped in everything that’s awesome to remotely think this album is not going to live up to its hype…. it is the brain-child of our favourite mad-genius after all!
