The eclectic collaboration between Diplo & Skrillex, titled JACK Ü took over BBC’s airwaves last night for a fantastic episode of Diplo and Friends. What followed was a remarkable two hour long frenzy that highlighted the vivacious styles of Diplo and Skrillex, with genres that ranged from dub, trap and hip hop to dance hall and pretty much everything you can think of.
Dropping numerous ID’s, this beaut of a set showcased these two superstars’ best works so far. The set consisted of mainly unreleased material from the duo- tunes such as ‘Jungle Bae‘, ‘Cumbia Maluca‘, Jack Ü’s collaboration with 2 Chainz called ‘Febreeze‘ amongst many more. Also featuring Diplo’s brand new odyssey with DJ Snake, a fresh ‘Recess‘ edit amongst others, this mix shows what they’re all about. One of the most powerful collaborations between two producers till date, watch out when they take over Madison Square Garden this New Year’s. Sit back and enjoy some Jack Ü!
