Post the announcement that Knife Party’s debut studio album “Abandon Ship” was delayed to due to unforeseen circumstances, Rob Swire has continued sharing snippets of songs from the album through his Soundcloud account.
The latest track, titled 404, is further proof that Knife Party aren’t sticking to one particular sound, and instead are experimenting give the album a more diverse direction. With 404, they turn back the clock to revisit the old Pendulum days, with cacophonous computer generated sounds and vocal samples and an electro synth laden bass line, with the breakdown highly inclining towards their usual electro dubstep style.
