A few weeks ago, Star Wars and Flux Pavilion fans alike were in the seventh heaven, hearing that this British mega producer would be remixing Star Wars‘ infamous “Rebel’s Theme” for the upcoming animated series, Star Wars Rebels. Finally, the finished product has reached Soundcloud and the response it’s received is phenomenal!
Flux has taken the original and re-worked into an entirely party-slaying machine. Demonstrating his solid command over the galactic soundscape, it’s clear Flux has put a lot of thought into this remix. Retaining the mystifying orchestral melody of the original and weaving it tastefully through a plethora of electronic sounds, Flux inflates this remix with heavy bass lines in a video game like setting. Dishing out complete justice to the original, Flux inserts traces of light saber sounds as well as Chewbacca’s infamous growls keeping this authentic. Check out the remix below!
