Madeon – Imperium [Free Download]

One of our favourite French producers, Madeon has been essentially revered for his intricate sets as well as mind blowing nu disco/electro productions. Recently, he debuted a brand new track in the least possible ways you’d expect. The 20 year old genius has dropped another smasher in the form of “Imperium” as part of the official soundtrack to EA Sports’ FIFA 15!

If you’re an avid footie fanboy/girl, it isn’t surprising to hear this. FIFA has always maintained a class above the rest in terms of gameplay music. Madeon’s ‘Imperium‘ dictates his signature tone, filled with layered breaks and euphoric synths. Rather than glitching this one out completely, Madeon eases ‘Imperium‘ through the process whilst retaining an uplifting melody and  a scorcher of an electro bassline.

‘Imperium‘ gives a bout of competition to other electronic acts’ music also featured on FIFA 15, from the likes of Avicii, A-Trak, Dirty South and more. With Madeon’s album being a work in progress, one can only dream of what Hugo is capable of.
