Social Launchpad gives artists all the ingredients for an ideal launch – a jam-packed space with mind-blowing energy complete with top notch production. A platform to display an artist’s creativity, it seeks to showcase the mad musical output and bring music enthusiasts together every month. The purpose of Social Launchpad is to put a spotlight on the most cutting-edge sounds being made in the country. The event will take off with the immensely talented trio – Begum on October 15th, 2014 with the launch of their album ‘Bagh‘.
Begum are an experimental, perverteer band from Delhi specialising in 11th century seduction sounds. With confluences of psychedelia, tradition, reggae, rock, experimentalism in their music, Begum transports you across unexplored borders.
