After Kygo took this tune places with a fantastic remix, young Norwegian producer Lido steps up to the plate for his swing. After a stellar release of his ‘I Love You EP’, Lido returns to re-work one of The Weeknd’s ultimate chart toppers ‘Often’.
Stripping the tune back to its bare vocals in the intro, Lido gradually eases a combination of electronic beats along with the vocals. As ethereal and minimalistic, this steps up right around the second chorus, as Lido indulges a little with harder chopped up synths whilst overpitching The Weeknd’s vocals.
