Jaipur native, Piyush Bhatnagar, or as he’s known to most, Sound Avtar is one of India’s foremost producers on the bass-heavy scene. Already having had a plethora of tracks released on Rub-a-duck recordings, he’s production carousel shows no signs of him stopping. He’s now out with a brand new track, more than perfectly titled, “Machine Gun“.
Voted Best Drum & Bass/Dubstep Dj/Producer by MYFAV Awards for the year 2012-13 & 2013-14, it’s easy to see why he’s so deserving of the award, just be looking at the production quality on Machine Gun.
Starting off with a hard hitting bass-line and some seriously destructive beat-work, it flows into a thumping, anxiety building synth bridge which picks up all the way to a massive build-up, that’ll have you leaning toward the edge of your seats, eagerly clenching your fists in anticipation for that bass in yo’ face. Once the drop hits, all hell breaks loose, and the multiple layers of wobbles tend to split your head in a way only a some hard hitting bass music is capable of.
