One Republic – I Lived (Arty Remix)

Arty is definitely on a hot streak. The Russian DJ and producer has had quite an eventful 2014, with his remixes of London Grammar‘s ‘Hey Now’ and Porter Robinson‘s ‘Lionhearted’ garnering plaudits from everyone and everywhere, and his collaboration/mashup with Above & Beyond for ‘You Got To Believe‘ and his own single ‘Up All Night’ also getting widely supported by DJ’s. And now the talented Russian has remixed OneRepublic‘s massive new single ‘I Lived’, doing a marvellous job while being at it!
Arty retains the acoustic guitar strings which compliment Ryan Tedder‘s brilliant vocals and develops the whole song into an upbeat, euphoric affair that just exudes those positive, happy vibes all over, especially the breakdown. This remix is a full 4 minutes and 28 seconds of Arty grandiose. Considering how his critically acclaimed remix of ‘Hey Now’ earlier this year saw many DJs/producers give their hands on also remixing the single, it won’t come as a surprise that there will be others remixing ‘I Lived’ in the coming weeks. The remix is now available for purchase here, under Interscope Records.
