Ever thought of making a big bombastic bass canon at your home? Never? Ok! This is the time you might want to give it a try. Adam Munich a build-it-yourself blogger has built his very own Bass Cannon which is no less than a weapon of mass destruction or a party on your shoulders. Just a few days back, Adam had published on his blogging website:
“Every once in a while I build something ridiculous, and this would be one of those whiles. Ladies and Gentlemen of the internet, I present to you what I understand to be the world’s first Bass Cannon.”
What makes it even more interesting is that this homemade machine utilizes everyday tools into one power full bass cannon. You might feel that the power of the device is quite less, as a more powerful one can be created to accurately represent the power of bass, but this small boom-box should be sufficient to blow up a house party for sure. When describing the construction, Adam explained:
“It’s a mono audio system with a pair of x-pass filters, a power amplifier and suitable drivers. It has no battery management or protection circuitry, though, that’s a simple thing to add if you do feel it to be absolutely necessary (hint; use a relay, a BJT, a zener diode, three 1% tolerance resistors and a comparator).”
