Well, word is out that one half of the Grammy winning duo Daft Punk, Guy-Manuel is recording a solo album. At least that’s what independent French magazine Tsugi‘s claims. When Google Translated, the article states:
According to our sources , one half of Daft Punk, Guy -Manuel Homem – Christo , is currently register[ing] a solo album in the near western suburbs of Paris . Of course, no release date has yet been scheduled , but what is already known is that it will be full of guests on this album vocal solo, including the presence of Charlotte Gainsbourg.
Last spotted at January’s Grammy Awards, fans of Daft Punk will take anything to believe this in order to sustain themselves. Are we excited for this new production? Definitely! After secretly releasing the limited edition of ‘Human After All’ worldwide and an upcoming documentary on BBC inspired by them, we can only get more intrigued by any news about this duo and their pursuits. Let’s hope Guy-Manuel‘s solo production from so close to home is only as pristine in quality as the duo’s collaborated efforts!
