Preview: Birdy – Skinny Love (Fareoh Remix)

Previously a favorite amongst alternative addicts , Birdy‘s cover of Bon Iver‘s ‘Skinny Love’ gets an interesting remix by New York based producer Ian Spurrier, better known as Fareoh. The subtle echoing of the sound of the piano pedals and the soft piano accompanied vocals  have been replaced with an acoustic introduction , some guitar , drums and a plucky synth. Out on 19th August on Atlantic Records, this rework is sure to attract attention to the self-taught music maker! The emotions of the original track are maintained despite the electro drop and funky guitar riffs that ornament the original. At the same time the track is turned upside down and given a makeover that both Fareoh and Birdy fans have reason to admire!
