When you think of Zac Efron and music, you automatically go back to the days of High School Musical, Disney Movies’ franchise that made a lot of girls swoon over him.
Post numerous movies after High School Musical, he’s back to doing a movie based on music. And this time it’s on dance music. Starring opposite model Emily Ratajkowski, who appeared in the video of Robin Thicke’s Blurred Lines, the film is a coming of age drama story, where a young DJ, who wants to make it big, has to choose between love, loyalty and his future.
Titled “We Are Your Friends“, the film will be directed by Max Joseph, popular for his co-starring role on MTV’s Catfish series, and produced by Richard Silverman, while the filming is due to start by August 18th.
