Dousk is the alias of Giannis Douskos, highly acclaimed Greek producer/DJ and remixer.
Dousk shot into the consciousness of the dance nation with his ep D.I.Y with roots definitely revolving around the Trance / Progressive genre were he served up some very tasty melodic and driving tunes for the palette .
His second album “Kind Of Human” clearly demonstrates that he draws influences from a variety of other genres and isn’t just restricted to the electronic vibe, blending many genres together like Acid Jazz, Blues, Funk, Downtempo and House.
His remixes are incredibly tight and well produced, and his originals bear a flair of commendable creativity, with beautiful sounds .His influences originate mostly from the electronic genre, whether be it in the form of 60’s and 70’s psychedelia and experimental electronic music, or even the late 70’s disco, and moving to 80’s progressive rock and avant-garde electronic music or even 90’s techno and breakbeat among other dance music forms.
