The New ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ Movie Theme Song features Kill The Noize & Wiz Khalifa among others!

We all grew up to 4 super-turtles who were well versed with kung-fu, loved pizza, lived in the sewers & took down bad guys. Naturally, the kids in all of us were super stoked when we first heard rumours of a live-action reboot by Michael Bay and Nickelodeon was in the works. Now that the reboot has finally come to fruition and is about to hit theaters pretty soon, we’re all super excited for theme song!

Well, the wait is over. Who better to make the movie more current than Hip-hop heavy weights, Wiz Khalifa, Juicy J, and Ty Dolla $ign? That’s not all, the entire track is also co produced two massive EDM artists, Kill The Noize & Madsonik.

It’s called ‘Shell Shocked’ and features heavy influences by both producers while maintaining a heavy hip hop beat that each of the three rappers can split their vocals on. It makes for a heavy trap record with with sick synths hooks, and faint middle-eastern influences.

Apart from anything else, this collaboration featuring on the Original Sound Track for this summer’s most anticipated movie, is just another example of the constant influence of EDM on modern pop culture.
