Preview: Cedric Gervais ft Coco – Through The Night (Original Mix)

French producer Cedric Gervais, best known for his remix of Lana Del Rey‘s Summertime Sadness, is out with his new single Through The Night, with vocalist Coco.
The single starts with some acoustic guitar strings, with the percussions and piano kicking in moments later with Coco’s soulfully groovy vocals. Revealing the track through his Facebook page, Cedric posted:

“I’m really excited to play you my new single ‘Through the Night’, which features the amazing Coco.

I wanted to write & release something a bit different – not only different but also a throw back to my house roots. I had a lot of fun writing this record & I hope you all enjoy it!!

Hopefully it will be the soundtrack to your summer.

Cedric.”

The single is very piano oriented and melodic, and definitely sounds very “summer-y”.  No summertime sadness after listening to this single.

The single will be part of the “Through The Night EP” due to release on 22nd July, featuring the radio edit, an extended mix and three remixes by Chris Lake, CID and Mednas.
