With over a decade of consistently releasing superlative albums, headlining festivals and selling out the grandest of venues across the world, Ryan Raddon aka Kaskade is doing what possibly very few artists who at the top of their game have dared to do; as he takes his music back to its roots. Following the much talked about purging of his SoundCloud account and some perceptive thoughts which followed on his Tumblr, the maestro took a call on doing things his own way from now onwards.
Much to our delight, the leading producer/DJ has kick-started proceedings with the release of his new single, a slinky, deep house gem, “Ain’t Gotta Lie” featuring the admirable vocals of deCarl. Further, the Redux EP, previously available only on vinyl, is also all set for a digital release. “I heard you guys”, Raddon wrote on his Facebook today and added that, “I get it. Tricky business trying to listen to vinyl on your iPod”.
Following that the electronic music luminary went on to upload another Facebook post. Think you could probably make a good remix of the single? Well in that case, Kaskade wants to hear it.
