These are exciting times for Indian producers. The Electronic Music movement in India is making its presence felt at the World stage like never before. And one man who is spearheading the revolution is pioneering musician Arjun Vagale. Known for his cutting edge sound, his sonic precision and genre-defining productions, Vagale has gone from strength to strength as he encompasses all virtues of a powerhouse performer and super-talented producer. He makes his debut on the prestigious SCI+TEC, the music label of Internationally acclaimed Superstar Dubfire, alongside another wavemaker Ramiro Lopez. Together they unleash a collaborative EP comprising of two gemstones called ‘Just One Shot‘ and ‘Je Ne Sais Quoi‘ called ‘One Shot’ EP.
The titles tracks are designed in such a way that they compliment each other in texture and energy. Driven by pulsing basslines, snapping snares and crisp percussion, that slight vocal sample adds that eerieness that only an afterhours set can deliver. This one’s curated for the strong-hearted and the afterburn of the party, as dark synth patterns trickle around the percussion layers to create all forms of haunting soundscapes. A fine moment for Indian music and Arjun Vagale especially to have accomplished this fine feat of releasing a track through one of the biggest underground music labels in the world!
