Polish supremos Wojtek and Sebastian come together as Duss, a duo that perfectly illustrates the symbiosis of musical experience and innovation. They return to the lovely Agile Recordings label to bring out their ‘D Love’ EP which features a double release of their tracks ‘D Love‘ and ‘What You Say‘ and a remix of the ‘D Love‘ by Polish producer Pysh. The three-track package feature an ensemble of some sultry deep house moods with the occasional dabble of tribal nuances and tech infused cutting edge studio production!
‘D Love‘ hits us with a deep house bassline that stays very controlled and subtle, and climbs as the vocal samples take centerstage. Tribal percussions add some unique flavors to the soundpot as added FX and vocal effects keep the track unpredictable. Pysh‘s gorgeous remix of the track really makes things soulful and transforms the general vision of the track. With an almost 80’s disco feel with its additional vocal samples, the track uses the existing melodic riff but adds an absolutely magical synth groove that is sure to get you on your feet and hopping around the dancefloor! The B-side track called ‘What You Say‘ adds a sense of bounce & rhythm making the vocals that are cleverly interspersed between grooves an eerie and euphoric listening experience.
