Maor Levi, the Israeli DJ prodigy known for his exceptional remixes, took the plunge and remixed the idolized band Coldplay’s track, “The Escapist” and proved yet again that he hides magic beneath his gloves!
To be able to remix a track that is so exquisite as an original, is a challenge in itself which Levi of course took head on. The remix fuses signature tunes of these two distinct acts that have a strong character individually. As the electric synth lines hitch on to what was initially soft and melodic, we get to experience a fresh new side to the track that is as pleasing as the original itself. The intense bassline too is composed in such a way that it does not strip the song off its cold play vibes.
