London based Electro sensation Jacob Plant lands a super EP release with Dim Mak records, as he puts together an ensemble of high-octane anthems through his ‘Louder’ EP. After achieving global success through his remixes of Rihanna‘s “Diamonds,” Calvin Harris‘ “Need Your Love” and Iggy Azalea‘s “Work“, the wonder-boy started off 2014 with a bang as well as he found consistent support through the likes of Calvin Harris, Knife Party, Sub Focus, Nero, Chase & Status, firmly establishing him as one of the UK’s brightest electro talents. His brand new EP certainly packs a punch and is a sign of the young producer’s growing talent and impeccable studio skills.
The title track ‘Louder‘ hits off with a hard hitting bassline and drumloop balanced by a delicate melody infused around the quarter mark. Elements coalesce around the break to welcome a chaotic electro-acid breakdown that is sure to get your heart racing and dancefeet jumping in no time! The second track ‘Radar‘ shoots off with a slow hip-hop beat and teasing vocals before a trap infused drumline and synth work crash down on us, showing the fantastical range of the EP from Plant. The electro synth returns and builds up with additional percussion for the return-break ensuring dancefloor pandemonium whenever it is unleashed! The final track ‘Tell them‘, takes things into a tribal overdrive as a funky drumline backed by a festivious synth break builds up with additional elements towards a hard-hitting drop that sparks a massive electro-synth groove that is sure to get your hands raised in celebration in no time!
