Netherlands based House-music-pioneers Chocolate Puma have been omnipresent on the Dance music scene since the last 20 years. With over 200 releases and countless remixes under their belt, Zki and Dobre have gone from strength to strength to establish and re-establish the sound spectrum that is House music. They now collaborate with new comer Kris Kiss on Mixmash records for a brand new release entitled ‘Step back‘, which has already seen rave reviews by fans and critics alike, its release on Beatport and an exclusive music video for the same!
The track features a chunky Puma-esque bassline peppered in with some light percussive work and piano strings as the very talented vocals of Kriss Kiss lifts the track to and fro with intensity. The duo keep the production formula simple as they allow the vocals to carry the vein of the track, as the punchy bass dabs sync in perfectly with the insistive vocal work. The video paints a different picture as well, as a man who becomes a victim of the oblivion of other people around him, begins to imagine himself breaking things in order to keep himself calm; something we all can relate to!
