Netherlands local and internationally renowned Tech & Deep house artist Taras Van De Voorde had released a beautiful double sided EP called ‘Chasing Seasons‘ last year. Now, the good people at Suara, have given it a new lease of life by picking two artists, from the Techno family, who exemplify the evolutionary traits of the genre itself! While Spanish sensation Dosem is on remix duties for the ‘Autumn‘ edition, House music legend Jerome Sydenham gives his blessings and visions on the ‘Winter‘ edition. Both remixes, are spirited and everything we love about house and techno – pure, melodic and groovy!
Dosem has this uncanny ability to curate sounds that fit his particular style and yet style distinctive each time. With his remix on ‘Changing Autumn‘, he revisits the original piano work with some chunky bassline grooves and melodic waveforms. One to lead you straight to the dancefloor, Dosem’s remix is as crisp and cutting-edge as they come. Meanwhile, Jerome Syndeham‘s extraordinary remix of ‘Chasing Winter‘ takes you through an incredible journey, through the use of many elements that have symbolized techno over the years. Be it filtered drumline, eerie vocals, euphoric pads or the good old Techno Detroit grooves, the remix will take you down memory lane, and completes a fantastic circle of life for this very special EP.
