For Russian iron grip Hard Rock Sofa, the previous year has already been an upbeat one and they are back in action. Even as their studio productions have remained cautiously dealt, an escalating live occurrence and murmur of their debut album has kept all eyes and ears on one of their nation’s biggest big room machines. They previewed their collaboration ‘Arms Around Me’ last week alongside Russian peer Skidka and it has now been liberated on Axtone Records.
Infringing the credulous yet contagious link between disco and big room, the track is implemented with striking delight by this group of flexible talents. Blending in fine elements of disco and unexpected hard-hitting progressions they have made a sound that will stand out for sure and if this is to be the typical style set for the duo’s looming album for Axtone, Hard Rock Sofa may just be geared up to plunge big room’s foremost classic LP.
