In a bid for Disney to connect with a more wider audience, and get a chunk out of the massive EDM pie, they’ve signed a few artists to remix popular Disney songs for their newest DConstructed Album. We’ve already heard Avicii’s new edit of Derezzed from “Tron: Legacy”, Now Armin Van Buuren premiered his remix of Idina Menzel’s Oscar Winning track from Walt Disney’s animated feature “Frozen”
The remix in itself, has Armin’s signature trance perspective on the original.It features a rushing cascade of synth melodies and a driving bassline over massive beatwork. Everything then fades out as Indina Menzel’s stellar vocal work starts to grip you, along with added atmospheric echoing effects to make it that much more euphoric. What follows is just a beautiful build-up of uplifting acidic melody work, leading you up to a body of an amazing Armin styled trancer with Menzel’s echoed vocals in the backing, all layered over thumping beats.
