Very few artists can always put a smile on your face and rule the roost of your heart with every release. One such artists who continue to impress the citizens of dance kingdom are Koan Sound. The latest EP by the terrific twosome on OWSLA, titled ‘Dynasty’ conquers the realm of electronic music since 1st April 2014. The Bristol Boys maybe young, but boy! do they know their music with their incredible knack for details and brilliant instrumentation to every song they produce.
The amazing five track EP, is nothing short of wonder and awe and comprises of tracks that will absolutely blow you away. Dipped in funk, dubstep and Eastern influences of music, the first track titled ‘7th dimension’ explores the world of electro funk and comprises of a few distorted bass line. “Infinite Funk” is another number from the EP that is true to the name funkalicious. But the most beautiful track on the EP is the namesake ‘Dynasty’ that challenges groove kings around the world with its unique and melodic dub influences. The concluding track ‘Lost In Thought’ places a mighty claim on drums until it captures you right on the dance floor, transfixed and intrigued with the might of the music of Koan Sound.
