With a release on Magik Muzik, New Delhi based producer & DJ Sarthack Sardana, aka Sartek has been making waves in the global electronic music scene. “Apocalypse”, his first release, has already been featured & supported by some of the leading producers & radio shows – Andy Duguid, Anjunabeats Worldwide, Myon & Shane 54, First State, Marcus Schossow, Bart Claessen, and Kay Wilder, to name a few.
Now Sartek’s worked his magic again on a brand new production that’s featured as part of the Holi Reloaded compilation. He’s just recently released the new track as a single. The production in itself, is a brilliant blend of royal Indian melodies (courtesy the melody on the ethereal and lush Sarangi) coupled with some massive, hard hitting big room sounds, making it just right for an Indian themed rave!
It starts with an intro based on a hypnotic indian melody, that drops to a hard kick drum beat with arena horn synths providing the backing rhythm. This then progresses to a breakdown of melodic chord progressions that amalgamate almost perfectly with the sounds of the Sarangi. Which again progresses to a stellar, pounding drop that would make you want to stomp the earth, arms flailing! This is one production you definitely need to get your hands on!
