When it comes to music festivals you’d die to attend, nothing tops the bucket list ahead of Tomorrowland! The annual dance music masquerade taking place in the quaint city of Boom, Belgium has become somewhat synonymous with electronic music lovers as the ultimate destination for celebrating dance music with friends and fans from all over the world. This year it seems that the excitement will grow ten-fold as the festival celebrates 10 years of bringing people together to celebrate the true spirit of dance music!

Tomorrowland 2012 Day 1

As the first of many more-to-come surprises ID&T unveiled, was that the festival would be held over two weekends. This implies double the fun as people get set to pour in reportedly from over 220 countries in the weekends of July 18-20th and 25-27th. Dance music heavyweights such as Hardwell, Tiësto, Carl Cox, Armin Van Buuren, Eric Prydz and Diplo, have all been confirmed as part of the lineup. Never before has the madness arrayed into an extended quarter such as this and the fans have responded equally emphatically. A staggering 360,000 tickets were sold out under an hour for Tomorrowland this year, which mind you, is still longer than last year when tickets went in a matter of minutes!

However, considering the fact that it is a double weekend and tickets are twice in number, Tomorrowland may have just strengthened its cause for becoming the ultimate dance music festival of all time! For all the people who weren’t so lucky enough to get their tickets, can join 16.8 million dance music fans from around the world to watch the festival via a live-stream online. To help buildup the excitement, have a look at last year’s after-movie below.
