Paul Oaklenfold’s Trance Mission album – due for release in the Spring will feature fresh and exciting cover versions of ten of Oakenfold’s all time favourite trance records.

The first single off that album is the brilliantly melodic Energy 52 anthem,  Café Del Mar. Having one of the most recognisable riffs of all time, Paul Oakenfold has commissioned Perfecto Fluoro residents Activa, Angry Man and Peetu S to remix this stellar trance anthem.

The reworked version of the original mix by Paul Oakenfold, has the Oakenfold energetic touch to it. The breakdown allows the splendid riff to develop to it’s ripest and then drops to a hard driving tech trance-ish bassline.

The Activa remix starts off with a progressive style that hits the melody at it’s breakdown. He then uses his re-worked rendition of the melody to aid as he upps the intensity while the track progresses, it then drops to a progressive psy beat with a subtle, yet bold, psy-trance bassline at the back of it all.

The Angry Man remix infuses Angry Man’s signature harder style with a more balearic sound to give us an explosive production. The riff infused with Angry Man’s special brand of hard dark trance provides for a huge nocturnal remix that is bound to set Trance heads to a flurry.

The Peetu S remix is a powerful combination of tech trance with psy elements sprinkled across. What defines this remix is the secondary synth stab riff that complements the original Cafe Del Mar riff so perfectly. The way both of these elements combine and take you through a splendid, powerful build up is testament to Peetu S production capabilities. After a build up that powerful, one only would expect an equally breath-taking drop, and Peetu S delivers.

This splendid Remix package is expected to release March 10, on Perfecto Fluoro Records
