With social media buzzing and the excitement behind it getting inexplicable, everyone is waiting with baited breath for the inaugural TomorrowWorld festival to kick off tomorrow! Dutch entertainment enterprise ID&T‘s beloved Tomorrowland concept will come to USA for the very first time as an international edition under the well-disguised moniker of ‘TomorrowWorld’. While the US has had its fair share of electronic music festivals, there are a few key aspects that promise to make TomorrowWorld a standing point in the history of reshaping the face of America’s music festival culture. We now add to the buzz and excitement with our own list of 7 things to look forward to!

1. The Main Stage 

Tomorrowland had launched its ambitious concept ‘The Book of Wisdom’ at its 2012 edition and boy, was it a success! With attendees touching the likes of 180,000 plus an additional 90 million online viewers, its fair to say that the concept was an overwhelming success! And now the mammoth set measuring 400 feet wide & 90 feet tall, with fairytale-style voiceovers and stunning artwork and visuals have literally taken a voyage across the Atlantic! With production starting as early as January, festival manager Shawn Kent has left no stone unturned in ensuring the spirit of Tomorrowland is rekindled, as over 80 containers of decorations and materials and staging were shipped to the US! A lot of designers and members of the Tomorrowland production team have been bought on-board in at attempt to combine the US experience with the Belgian experience. Furthermore, 300,000 square feet of flooring has been added in the stage areas, which will last for a few more years…of course.

2. Discover the enchanting Chatahoochee Hills

We’ve been so excited ever since the Festival Ground’s map was released last week! And you’d be too when we draw your attention to the enigmatic Dreamville! Besides the enchanting world of musical mayhem to be explored, some attendees will also be camping in the Dreamville area which spans the north side of the park, trekking daily to the eight stages which are scattered across the festival grounds! How awesome is that?! Dreamville promises many more exciting features like gourmet food vendors, gift shops, and sufficient bathrooms! But spending the night out, camping on the hills with your best friends, only to wake up the following morning, and walking that trail through landscapes of hills and lakes to reach your favourite artist…aah..now that’s priceless!

3. The LIV experience

Sure, some us love the high life! And thanks to LIV Nightclub of Miami Beach, VIP attendees will enjoy an exclusive upscale experience including an Ocean & Pool Club, Sky Lofts and VIP tables! The sky lofts promises to be a crafty deal as it offers guests exclusive access to the best views of the festival’s jaw dropping centrepiece installation, all while enjoying the most luxurious table and bottle service! Plus, there is the promising ‘LIV Stage’ playing host to top talent such as Benny Benassi, Laidback Luke, Chuckie, and Pete Tong while welcoming 3000 exclusive festival goers. General packages include: reserved VIP table at LIV Stage, 1 bottle of Dom Perignon, 1 Magnum of Belvedere Vodka, 12 cans of Red Bull, 12 Beers of choice, 12 bottles of water, 3 mixers of choice and round trip luxury transportation to/from the festival! Wow..now that’s royalty at Chatahoochee!

4. Chilling at the Belgian Beer Café

While the VIP attendees are subject to such luxury, TomorrowWorld is spicing up the site with a post office, book store and a Belgian Beer Café! Belgian Beer Cafés will offer a wide variety of authentic Belgian beers, ranging from the renowned brands to local beers. What’s exciting is that BBC’s brand concept is ‘to design with elements that adapt well to the particular setting of the location’. So, how they intend to integrate this Belgian experience with an American festival experience is going to be a very interesting feature on the already exciting site plan!

5. Superman, Spider-man and Batman

A stage where attendees are encouraged to dress up as their favourite superheroes…crazy, right?! But when your DJ’s take up the mantle of caped crusaders, literally rescuing us from the riddles of the modern world in the guise of a magical festival like this, we will gladly oblige! Laidback Luke began his unusual Superman, Spider-man and Batman set concept back in 2012 and earlier this year he was accompanied by Sander van Doorn as Batman and Dimitri Vegas as Ironman at the prestigious Tomorrowland festival. But the big question is that when Laidback Luke puts on his familiar Superman drapes on, who will accompany him on stage this time assuming the roles of Spiderman & Batman? Surely this is something that will be well approved by the likes of Stan Lee and Bob Kane!

6. The Afroki set

Arguably, two of the biggest party animals on the planet will collaborate once again, as Dim Mak kingpin, Steve Aoki, and Dutch sensation Afrojack rekindle their collaborative project ‘Afroki‘. After the release of their collaborative track ‘No beef’ (and the Afroki energy drink?), one can expect total mayhem at their set, along with the usual champagne drenching and cake throwing!

7. The Tomorrowland experience at a global scale

Sure there’s Dreamville, and the main stage, and the Belgian Beer, and the VIP lofts. But let’s face it..we’re all just super excited to see the Tomorrowland experience expand to a global scale! The US may be hosting the inaugural TomorrowWorld festival, but the expansion of the Tomorrowland concept has opened the doors to wide possibilities. Shawn Kent had stated, “…this isn’t just becoming a trend of EDM; that it’s really a culture of electronic music and it’s really about live experience…this music scene, electronic music culture, is really here to stay, and that it’s maturing, and that we’re bringing such a high quality of experiences to the market that people really take notice.”

One must credit the bosses at ID&T, that despite its elaborate setup and exclusive features, its still about curating a festival experience and that in essence..its all about the music. And coming back to the expansion of Tomorrowland, when your intention is to unite dance music fans from all across the globe, who’s to say other favored destinations are not in the pipeline?!
